Streamroot is proud to be selected as one of 15 semi-finalists in Cisco’s third annual Innovation Grand Challenge!
Launched in 2014, the Cisco Innovation Grand Challenge seeks out game-changing technologies that have the potential to transform their industry and the world. The grand prize includes $150,000, as well as access to the Cisco innovation network and mentoring opportunities for the most promising venture that “harnesses the power of the intelligent network.”
Streamroot has been selected from over 3,000 entries in over 100 countries. Submissions hail from companies operating in all sectors, from manufacturing and smart cities to infrastructure and healthcare.
We thank Cisco for recognizing the potential of Streamroot’s hybrid video delivery solutions. Through more efficient, decentralized delivery infrastructures, Streamroot is redesigning video delivery and paving the way for a monumental shift in the way we bring content to internet users all over the world. We are thrilled to be among what Alex Goryachev, Senior Director of Innovation Strategy & Programs at Cisco, qualifies as true “disruptors”!
Three panels of Cisco and industry experts will now select this year’s winners. Finalists will be announced on October 25 and winners on November 9 at Web Summit in Lisbon. Stay tuned!
